Wundercar: 40 Years of the 959
To mark 40 years of the iconic Porsche 959, INK is launching Wundercar – a collaborative exhibition that brings together six internationally acclaimed artists to reinterpret the legendary supercar through sculpture, photography, and digital art.
Running from 22–25 May 2025 at 41 Quaker Street, London, Wundercar will feature original works by INK, Benedict Radcliffe, Chris Labrooy, Benedict Redgrove, Colorsponge and Wooden Gun. Each artist explores the 959’s place in history as a symbol of 1980s innovation, performance and uncompromising design.
The exhibition opens with a private, invitation-only preview on 22 May, followed by free public entry on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 May. It’s a rare chance for enthusiasts, collectors and the curious to experience one of Porsche’s most celebrated machines through the lens of contemporary art.
To round off the weekend, INK will host a Cars & Coffee gathering on Sunday 25 May, from 9am–12pm. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own standout vehicles, enjoy artisan coffee, meet the artists and share in the spirit of automotive culture. Spaces are limited, so if you’re planning to bring a car, email wundercar@workwithink.co.uk in advance. Tickets are available via Eventbrite.
