Carrera Cool
Singer’s latest creation is a love letter to the high-revving, wide-bodied icons of the 1980s. The Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe Reimagined by Singer pairs nostalgia with cutting-edge engineering to deliver a true driver’s car – naturally aspirated, rear-wheel-drive and painstakingly crafted for road and track alike.
At its heart is a reborn 4.0 litre flat-six, developed with Cosworth, featuring four valves per cylinder, variable valve timing, and a blend of air and water-cooling. The result? A spine-tingling 420hp engine that revs beyond 8,000rpm. A manual six-speed ‘box and titanium exhaust complete the visceral experience.
Built around the original Type 964 monocoque, the chassis has been re-engineered in partnership with Red Bull Advanced Technologies for greater stiffness and sharper dynamics. Carbon fibre bodywork pays homage to the 911’s heritage while shedding weight and active aero options offer functional flair.
Inside, it’s pure craftsmanship – hand-built gauges, exposed shift mechanisms and bespoke finishes throughout. Modern driver aids, multi-mode traction control and four-way adjustable dampers mean the tech’s there when needed, but never gets in the way.
Only 100 will be commissioned. Each one, like every Singer, begins with an owner’s vision – and ends as a one-of-a-kind, high-performance sculpture on wheels.
