Bugatti's 'Fly Bug'

Created by Bugatti's Sur Mesure programme, this one-off W16 Mistral 'Fly Bug' completes a quartet of bespoke Bugattis inspired by the natural world, following the Hellbug, Hellbee and Lady Bug. This time, the dragonfly provided the inspiration, with its shimmering wings and effortless sense of movement shaping every aspect of the car's design.

Finished in a bespoke 'Dragonfly Blue' paint that changes between turquoise and deep blue depending on the light, the roadster features a flowing ellipse graphic that becomes denser towards the rear, subtly echoing the insect's delicate wing structure. Inside, Bugatti has continued the theme with an intricate geometric leather and Alcantara finish, while the iconic Bugatti Macaron has been seamlessly woven into the side graphic for the first time.

The 'Fly Bug' is another reminder that Bugatti's most fascinating creations aren't always about outright performance. Sometimes, they're rolling works of art, where colour, craftsmanship and storytelling come together to create something truly unique.
