Speed as a Statement

Munich-based artist and former designer Fillin Guas turns an original Porsche 997 GT3 Cup into a striking meditation on our obsession with speed.

Wrapped entirely in the repeated word SPEED, the race car becomes more than a machine. The hand-applied typography follows every curve of the bodywork, transforming the Porsche into a bold visual statement where language, design and motorsport collide.

The installation extends beyond the car, with racing-inspired objects including a workshop trolley, air cylinder, fire extinguishers, a dog sculpture and a series of Ink on Glass artworks, all exploring themes of ambition, control, risk and endurance.

Importantly, this isn't just an art piece. The Porsche is an authentic ex-Supercup and VLN race car that remains fully operational and track-ready. Yet within Project 6.01, it also serves as a mirror of modern life, where the pace of racing reflects the constant acceleration of how we work, travel and consume.

Project 6.01 is a collaboration between artist Fillin Guas, ARS AD VIAM Automobile and RTM Motorsport.
