The Firefly

Some cars were never meant to blend in. The Firefly Commission is one of just 99 Porsche 911s to pass through Singer’s DLS Turbo programme, transforming a 964-generation 911 into a road-going tribute to Porsche’s wild endurance racers of the 1970s.

Finished in a striking colour combination, this right-hand-drive commission pairs carbon fibre bodywork with a twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre flat-six producing a staggering 710 bhp. With water-cooled cylinder heads, air-to-water intercooling and the ability to rev beyond 9,000 rpm, it delivers a distinctly modern take on the analogue racing spirit.

Every surface has been carefully considered, with computational fluid dynamics informing the aerodynamic design. The Firefly takes personalisation a step further, with interchangeable road and track bodywork configurations, including a ducktail spoiler or a more aggressive rear wing. Both setups come with their own bespoke flight cases.

Completed by Singer in November 2025, the car has covered just 1,294 miles under its commissioning owner. It was also selected by Singer founder Rob Dickinson and the Duke of Richmond for the marque’s celebrated display at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed, where chief test driver Marino Franchitti took it up the famous hillclimb.

Part endurance racer, part modern supercar, the Firefly Commission is a vivid reminder of what happens when one of the world’s most recognisable sports cars is reimagined without restraint.
