Viva Las Vegas

McLaren’s MSO division has dropped something rather special ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix: Project Viva, a one-off 750S Spider that channels the city’s late-night pulse through an unexpected monochrome lens.

Instead of leaning into the obvious neon palette, MSO has sketched Vegas in motion with hand-painted linework across a deep black base called Vegas Nights, a new colour created just for this car, flecked with subtle cyan, magenta and green to hint at the Strip after dark. The contrast comes via Muriwai White, used to pick out doors and shutters in the livery’s architectural motifs.

Project Viva maps out Vegas landmarks, signage, music culture and a touch of McLaren’s own racing heritage, all wrapped into a flowing narrative across the bodywork. Even McLaren F1 drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri added their own touches, including the team’s tenth Constructors’ Championship star on the rear bumper.
