Porsche x Toy Story
Porsche has turned three of Toy Story’s most recognisable characters into three very different 911s. Created in collaboration with Disney and Pixar to mark the release of Toy Story 5, this one-off trio was unveiled on the red carpet at the film’s world premiere. Built by Porsche’s Sonderwunsch department, each car takes its cues from Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie, translating their colours, clothes and personalities into a very elaborate commission.
The most outrageous of the three is perhaps the 911 GT3 RS inspired by Buzz Lightyear. Finished in white with Green Yellow and Lizard Green detailing, its Weissach Package includes a huge rear wing echoing Buzz’s pop-out wings. White magnesium wheels feature Space Ranger centre caps, while bespoke Goodyear tyres carry ‘Lightyear’ lettering. Inside, Pebble Grey leather and Race-Tex are punctuated with Lizard Green details, illuminated To Infinity and Beyond door sills and a bespoke Buzz illustration.
Jessie gets a 532bhp 911 Targa 4 GTS, finished in a new Jessie White Metallic paint developed specifically for the project. Cobalt Blue, Atacama Yellow and GTS Red recreate her cowgirl aesthetic, while the red Targa roof is a direct nod to her hat. The cabin goes even further, with denim-look fabric, Bordeaux Red Race-Tex, cowhide-pattern floor mats and illuminated ‘YEE HAW!’ door sills.
The 911 Carrera T takes on Woody, with a custom Dark Sea Blue paint finish engineered to look like worn denim, complete with a visible fabric-like texture. Coffee Black and Aurum details are joined by Fire Red graphics, while the interior introduces brown vintage leather, red check fabric and the same denim upholstery used in Jessie’s Targa.
As well as being extravagant exercises in Porsche personalisation, the three cars have a more serious purpose. All will be sold as part of a charitable initiative supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross and Starlight Children’s Foundation.
