Tangerine Dream
KAMManufaktur has officially launched the KAMM 912c Targa, combining the brand’s renowned lightweight engineering with the timeless appeal of the soft-window Targa body. As KAMM’s global presence grows, founder Miklos Kazmer responded to a recurring question - would there be an open-top version? Staying true to authenticity, Kazmer ensured that the Targa retained its original soft-window design, the purest form of open-air driving from the 1960s.
To mark the launch, KAMM has created a one-off edition, starting with a 1968 soft-window 912 Targa, fully restored and re-engineered to Semi-Carbon specification. Finished in Tangerine paintwork with a tobacco leather interior, it features bespoke touches, including custom wheels, Cibie spotlights, a carbon roof rack, and even a KAMM surfboard. Inside, a high-quality audio system is discreetly integrated for modern comfort.
The KAMM 912c Targa is based on the Semi-Carbon 912c, with carbon fibre body panels, a lightweight Lexan rear window, and advanced chassis reinforcement for exceptional rigidity. Power comes from a 2.0-litre, air-cooled engine producing 185hp, paired with a five-speed dogleg transmission and limited-slip differential. Each car is built to order, offering complete customisation in paint, interior, and performance options.
