Testarossa reborn

Officine Fioravanti have unveiled their take on 1980s supercar royalty, the Ferrari Testarossa. The restomod project, named The Testarossa by Officine Fioravanti, is equipped with bespoke equipment upgrades, including improvements to the chassis, aerodynamics and engine.

Power comes from a modified version of the original 4.9 litre flat 12, which produces 510bhp and has a claimed top speed of 201mph. Additional features include new titanium exhaust system, electronically adjustable shock absorbers, anti-lock brakes and a traction control system have been installed for enhanced stability.

It also comes with Brembo racing-spec brakes, adjustable anti-roll bars and new alloy wheels. Despite the additions, Fioravanti have also managed to shave some 130kg from the Testarossa’s weight. Aerodynamics have also improved, as the model benefits from a completely flat bottom.

Italian leather makes up the interior, with aluminium replacing the original plastic equivalents, and a new audio system has been fitted with Apple CarPlay, a USB-C port and a modern radio. Elsewhere inside there is a 1980s-style mobile phone that connects to the car through Bluetooth and can then be used to make and receive calls.
