The Californian 'Hippie'

This beautiful 1973 Porsche 911T is one of three examples modified as an RSR art car tribute by Jon Gunderson in Escondido, California. Finished in the famous purple and green livery from the 1970 917 ‘Hippie’ car, it’s powered by a fuel-injected Rothsport Racing 3.5 flat-six mated to a Type 915 five-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. Additional custom features include sculpted steel bumpers, an aluminium ducktail rear spoiler, a centre-fill fuel tank with a machined metal fill cap, custom dual exhaust outlets, 15″ Braid wheels, racing suspension components, black RS-style bucket seats with purple inserts, and a leather-wrapped roll bar.
