American Road Art
This fantastic collection of classic roadside advertising and branding signage recently went up for auction in the States. This is just a fraction of some the 'road art' that was sold as part of a private collection which also included large neon signs, petrol pumps and original oil can packaging. The design, typography and colours of the time exist today as reminder of that vibrant period in American history when the public fell in love with the car and the culture that surrounded it.
